Open 7 days a week our Hill House Farm butchery counter at Chessington Garden Center has a wider selection of our own Gloucester Old Spots Pork, Southdown Lamb and Belted Galloway Beef. Alongside these, we are delighted to offer meats from other carefully chosen producers who share our 'farm to fork' ethos and standards, including Adlington’s Free-Range Poultry and Weston’s Veal, as well as locally sourced game when in season.
Located in the new Sedum Farm shop, next to the restaurant at the rear of the garden center, our butchery counter is easy to find right next at the entrance to the Farm Shop.
Headed up by Master Butcher, Tony Warner, the counter has a huge selection of items for all occasions, beef is dry aged on site for a minimum of 28 days, and each day Tony and the team make a wide variety of sausages, kebabs, burgers and ready meals for customers to enjoy at home. Tony and the team also prepare an impressive selection of traditional joints and cuts each day for customers to choose from.
Current favourites include our Surrey Hills Porchetta, Merguez Sausages and our “Cowboy Steaks” which are perfect for the BBQ.
