Hill House Farm's Half Leg of Mutton is hung for 3 weeks to develop a fuller flavour. Our butcher has prepared the leg in two perfect halves, ideal for wholesome roast diner but perfect for slow cooking with oodles of root vegetables and hard herbs.
The half leg is sold with the bone in, which adds to the flavour and if slow cooked with stock, the marrow will enrich the gravy ensuring a delicious rich jus to accompany your lamb. Cook with pluses or pearl barley for a sensational family feast!
