On the market!
"Do you have a shop we can visit?" I get asked this an awful lot, we'd love a shop at the farm, but it's a question of space, resource and that old devil planning permission! Alas as well as an online store we have the next best thing though a pop up shop...
Farmers markets are a key element of our activity at Hill House Farm, a test bed for new product, vital face to face interaction with customers and a great way of expanding our network and customer base. Graeme our regular markets guy also provides us with useful feedback and intel from customers and other traders that has really helped us to provide the very best products and service we can.
In addition to our usual pitches (listed at the bottom) we'll be attending some extra markets over the coming weeks running up to Christmas. The first of which, being the market for the launch of the Surrey Hills Enterprises Artisan Trail, which takes place at Denbies Vineyard on Sunday 18th October between 10am and 4pm. We are delighted to be part of the Artisan Trail, which will offer bespoke experiences in the Surrey Hills, we plan to offer pre booked farm tours and tastings to groups of six, which will enable guests to experience farm life and sample some of the excellent food we produce. You can enquire about booking an experience here.
Back to those markets, we'll also be selling at Cranleigh farmers market on the first Friday of each month from November onwards. Plus you can find us at our following regular pitches;
Chichester Farmers Market - 1st & 3rd Friday of each month in the Cattle Market 9am to 1pm
Leatherhead Artisan Market - last Friday of each month outside Swan Walk 9am to 1pm
Pimlico Farmers Market - every Saturday on Orange Square at the foot of Ebury Street 9am to 1pm
Surrey Oaks Farmers Market - Newdigate, this Saturday and every other Saturday 8.30am to 11.30am.
If you come and see us in person at one of our farmers markets this month, we are offering a special one time discount code, so please pop down meet Graeme or myself there's no better provenance or assurance than buying direct from the farmer.
